Castle playground

Keenan has been trying really hard to cut out his morning nap. If he doesn't stay busy he's gets pretty crabby but doesn't want to miss out on anything of course. So we took him to this really cool looking playground that Eric happened to see one day to keep him busy plus it looked fun! We went at 9 in the morning and with the exception of a few other kids pretty much had the place to ourselves.

The car and the horse both rock and wiggle. Keenan really liked the steering wheel on the car.Unfortunately it had rained the night before so most of the slides had a bit of water in and on them. Eric took Keenan down one anyway he didn't seem to mind and giggled most of the way down. This little girl followed Sierra all over the playground. She had to have one had on the dog at all times and anytime Sierra stopped the little girl would hug her. It was pretty cute... until we decided we had to go home. Then the little girl screamed and cried as her mom peeled her off of Sierra. Sierra is usually pretty popular whenever we go to the parks, all the little kids usually maul her. Thankfully she stands there and takes it but at the first opportunity she finds she tries to run away.

playground fun

We went to dinner the other night at a sushi restuarant that is near our apartment. It is the ONLY restaurant that we (and others) have found that actually has highchairs! The highchair bit was one of the main reasons we went, Keenan hates sitting in his stroller if it is stationary. We do like sushi too! I think I've mentioned before that you just don't see little kids out at restaurants. Keenan was happily enjoying himself... throwing crackers on the floor, trying to get the rest of his food in his hair and occasionally being a bit loud. They were happy baby sounds but just the same it seemed like everytime he let out a big squawk the whole restuarant stood still, turned and stared at us. Eric and I just started laughing... what else could we do really?!On the way home from dinner we stopped at a little playgound. Keenan LOVES slides, he gets a big grin on his face every time I put him at the top. Below he's on the top of the merry-go-round with Dad's hands close by.

Keenan really didn't want to leave, here he is trying to get back on the Merry-go-round!
