Eric and I attended our first Marine ball last night. The Marines host the ball in celebration of their birthday, this year celebrated 233 years of Marines. I admit, it sort of felt like high school Prom all over again as I was getting myself all fancied up. Keenan got all excited when his babysitter Lilia came over. He usually clings to me and cries when I leave but lately he hardly stops playing to give me a goodbye kiss. I guess I should feel really good about the fact that he likes his babysitter so much but at the same time it made me a little sad that he could care less. Sigh, I guess she's probably more exciting then same old boring mommy that's always around.
One of my friends here was extremely generous and let me borrow her Valentino dress complete with the matching Valentino shoes.

Since it was the Marine ball I figured I ought to have a picture with them. Eric thought it was too much like prom for him to pose with them too.
It was fun to see everyone all dressed up, as usual I wish I would have gotten more pictures.

Personally, Aunty likes the back view of my loverly niece in her loverly dress. Aunty does NOT like lovely bosoms on view for lechers, etc. However, Aunty concedes that it's nice to look at lovely bosoms than most of the awful stuff one is subjected to these days ... a handsome couple! I miss you!
