February in Montana

The boys are totally addicted to the Ipad or any tablet that plays games...  Van went nuts anytime he saw one and had to play!  Spending time with Gramma
 Trying on Grampa's shoes...
Keenan needed his picture taken too, can't give ALL the attention to little brother.
Oh, better try on Gramma's shoes too...

4-wheeler rides with Grampa and a few cousins (next few pictures were taken from my sister's blog)
One way to get this many kids to listen... mention suckers!
Once they were all sugared up, they had enough energy to tackle Grampa down.
They still have extra energy... they are rolling down the hill
Grampa, on the other hand ran out of energy and took a short nap.
Time to bike down the hill
My sister Christy took Keenan with her and her kids for an afternoon and when I went to go pick him up Cade and Avery met me at the door with backpacks and sleeping bags... how could I say no?  They managed to talk me into spending the night twice (Avery three times).  Thankfully they are ready to go to bed early... but then they also wake up REALLY early.
Someone found the peanut butter. All four kids found the peanut butter, I kept finding spoons covered in peanut butter put back into the silverware drawer.
Yummy, best when it's all over!  Peanut butter is protein, right??
This bald eagle was right next to my parents house in the calving pasture.

February was spent taking out tonsils and playing with cousins as much as possible!  My sister Jami came down with Cade, Avery, Chase and occasionally Everett pretty much everyday.  It was really nice being able to spend time with her and all the kids.  My parents left the house to myself for 10 days in the middle of the month while they went diving in Fiji.  As much as I enjoyed spending so much time with family I am COMPLETELY ready to be in my own house and get back into a routine.  I am OVER living out of a suitcase!  Four more days until we can call Tunisia "home".

We go Montana and get trainset!

Cade, Chase, Everett, Carter, Keenan and Avery! All sitting still for one second.

Keenan got more and more excited to get to Montana since we promised to take him to the toy store and get a train set. So we kept hearing "We go to Montana and get train set!" My parents picked us up at the airport and immediately took us to Target where Keenan got his wooden train set... although after him spying a whole section of Cars he was pretty sure he needed a few of those too, yes this resulted into another tantrum. I guess they don't call it the terrible two's for nothing!

After purchasing our new trainset we headed out to Grampa Bill's birthday party. Keenan spied cake and immediately went to trying to help himself to finger fulls of frosting, sorry if your piece was missing some. Keenan is pretty sure you can't have a birthday without cake!

We celebrated a late Christmas with my siblings and their kids, mostly just to unwrap presents.
Keenan was pretty sure Cade's new car must be his! He did not want to give it up, of course could have cared less about the car until he realized someone else wanted the car very badly! This picture is obviously BEFORE Cade realized his car what a hot item!

We picked up these foam swords in the dollar section of Target... very worth every penny! The kids all LOVED them!
Keenan modeling his new "McQueen" slippers.

Chase not looking too sure about all the commotion.

Gramma and Grampa with all their grandkids... notice they all have suckers in their mouths or trying to get them there,to keep them cooperative for the picture.

Checking out the Ranch

I know, it's taking me a while to get caught up from our trip. One day while in Montana Eric and I took Keenan on a walk over to the shop and barn. He really liked seeing the horses and two bottle calves up close, the calves on the other were new to bottle fed life and weren't too friendly just yet so we admired them from afar.
"Yoo-hoo, down here!"
My little blondie.
Shocking that Keenan would want to "drive" the tractor...
We stopped in to see Aunty Gywnnie but see wasn't home so we admired her flowers. Keenan likes to smell them.
Soon as we got back from our walk my Dad came home and was getting ready to go back over to feed the calves so Keenan went with too. Christy, Cade and Avery also showed up to play, Cade decided to tag along to feed too!
Keenan loves putting on hats, here he is with Cade's.

Last stop: Montana

After numerous planes and a few states we finally made it to Montana. While in Montana we had a few play dates with cousins, did a little more shopping, had a few Dr's appointments plus a dental checkup, Branded, visited with family... we kept ourselves occupied! Keenan was immediately drawn to a mud puddle and an endless supply of rock to throw. Whenever we went outside Keenan rushed over to it. We had to wash his shoes a few times...

Keenan enjoyed having the outside world just out the front door (instead of 7 stories below) and wanted to spend most his waking hours outside!

Keenan and Avery checking out the mud puddle.

He wasn't too sure about riding the 4-wheeler with Grampa.

A little behind...

I'm a little bit behing on my postings. I've taken a ton of pictures while I've been back in Montana. We've been busy trying to visit with everybody, spend lots of time with all Keenan's cousins, and trying to complete a rather large shopping list while we're here.

Keenan really likes to take off streaking as soon as I pull his diaper off. Here he really wanted to put grampa's boots on and thought it was pretty funny. Hopefully Keenan didn't leave any little puddles behind in the boots.
Keenan wasn't too sure what to think of his youngest cousin Chase. He really wanted to poke him and steal his binky. Chase is soo little! It seems so hard to believe that Keenan was that size just over a year ago!

Here's Keenan with his older cousin Carter (she gave herself a haircut). We went to her house the next day and while Keenan had fun playing with all of Carter's toys it was a little traumatic on her. Just as fast as Keenan could grab a toy Carter was trying to chase him down saying "that's my toy!". After awhile Keenan got pretty good and grabbing a toy and running away with it.
